BELOW FLOOR TRUCK DESIGN BY TERRY RUSSELL
With the introduction of the new SPTC Coronation car model I have re-issued the BELOW FLOOR truck set up with an overall height of only 19mm, using the LH21 motor and Ultrascale 21:1 ratio gear set. For heavier models or with exhibition work in mind I still can supply the H1024 motor and 30:1 ratio gear set. These trucks are 21mm high to the pivot plate on a bogie and 20mm overall on a 4 wheeler thus requiring a slight protrusion through the floor of the model.

These motors have adequate power to propel a card or resin model, and give better running with modern electronic control.

A new service is now available where by all motored trucks can be made DCC "decoder ready" but the customer must please stipulate this requirement when ordering as it affects the motor truck wiring.

"O" GAUGE TRUCKS
These are ready to run on 24.5mm or 32mm gauge track or other track gauges to special order.* They are fitted with a 12 Volt DC motor and un-motored versions are available but these are intended for STATIC models and can not be motorised by the customer to save money! Any side frame listed below may be selected.
